This is the first time I bought anything from IN 2 IT and the brand seems to have some very promising products up its sleeve!

Dear Sabs,
I need your help! I have fair skin but I have dark knees and elbows. I have tried everything: bleaching, lemons, vinegar and salt scrub, and whitening soaps but nothing seems to work! I am working in a hotel and we are required to wear short skirts and no stockings. I can make do with the dark elbows because we wear a blazer, but I get really embarrassed with my knees. HELP! Thanks so much Sabs. I hope to hear from you soon! ~ Glenda, Paranaque I was in Rustan's last night when I came across VO5 Hot Oil treatment for treated hair in their cosmetics section in the supermarket. I dye my hair once in a while so my hair is all dried out. I took a shot and got myself a box for PhP 97.75 for 2 tubes.
Ok, those of you guys who follow my blog know that I currently have an obsession with getting to the bottom of what's the deal with Korea's BB Cream. Ever since I bought Maybelline's BB Cream, I was hooked in finding the perfect one that is budget friendly, hypoallergenic, and non-comedogenic. I know that Landmark and SM department stores carry unknown Korean brands so I spent the day looking at Korean makeup. Before I even got to SM, I found that Landmark carried this Korean brand, SHAWILL. The package is nice but a little flimsy though, but they have a wide variety of makeup that looks interesting to try. I went to Subic just last weekend. And as we went to Royal Subic, the first thing I searched for were their imported cosmetics. I wanted to see what products they had from Korea and China just so I can test them. Royal Subic has a lot of brands which you can't find here in Manila so I got 2 products to review. Ever since I did that review on Maybelline's BB Cream/Tinted moisturizer, I got curious what "BB" meant. Take for example the model I put makeup on (photographed) a few months ago, Rica. She's Filipino-Korean and I just admired her skin. I just thought that they were born with it. But after a little research, I found out about the BB Cream. Doesn't it seem like every Korean actress is blessed with naturally flawless skin? Well, maybe so but now we know that they are also armed with a secret weapon called the BB Cream. I have always been a fan of Lancome's La Base Pro. A skin primer that works wonders, specially on mature skin. Lancome would send me about 2-3 tubes of L'Absolu Rouge La Base every time I would request for new products and I never gave it much attention. Today, I decided to apply it on my lips before applying my lipstick and it works wonders! After the wedding I did yesterday, I was killing time in the mall and I chanced upon Maybelline's new tinted moisturizer, the B.B Cream. I didn't have any second thoughts to try it since it only comes in 18ml tubes for PhP 200.00. It's the perfect trial-phase size. It only comes in one shade. A shade that promises to suit most skin colors. Now that really intrigued me. I've always had the hard time in looking for the perfect tinted moisturizer since most of them came in peach undertones. It usually turns ashy on my skin, which I hate. I got to test the product today when I went out to meet one of my brides. So, I decided to put the tinted moisturizer to the test. The texture of the product is very creamy. It doesn't run so it feels very much like liquid foundation. The color (when not contacted with skin) is nude, a little on the beige size which is good. For years I have used nothing but Lancome because I carried their brand. And ever since one of my friends exposed me to local brands for their lipsticks, I just had to buy a whole lot and see which were the ones I could use. I was surprised to know that after testing them myself, they lasted LONGER and the colors are more intense! The pigment is absolutely perfect and requires minimal retouching. LOVE IT! Although I still recommend not scrimping on your foundations and blushes because these you will have to take time buying, but you can change your lipsticks as often as you change your underwear. It's the best and quickest way to update your look to match your makeup-mood!
Ok ok, I got a really carried away with the lipsticks, but I couldn't help myself. I was out today with my cousins, and one of our favorite pastimes is going to department stores and just try on makeup after makeup until our lips are sore from wiping off lipsticks, and our cheeks red from trying on blush after blush! I decided to look for nice day lipsticks for everyday. One thing about everyday-makeup is that you shouldn't over-do it. Otherwise, your evening makeup will look mundane. Ever since Lady Gaga and Rhianna came stepped out of the red carpet wearing the hot pink lipstick, it has been illustrious ever since. I have had a number of women asking me where to buy hot pink lipsticks that would suit them best and I would suggest big international brands such as MAC, YSL, SHU UEMURA or MAKEUP FOREVER. These women would tell me that they were either too expensive for such a seasonal color, or it's always out of stock. So today, I went out on a quest to check Watson's for what they might have in store. And VOILA! The local brands carried nice lipsticks in wide shades of pink. I bought 2 shades that I found very nice on me:
