I have always been a fan of Shu Uemura's Eyelash curler. For those of you who use Shu as well would know that new ones would take some time to get used to since the rubber is still stiff. But nonetheless, the best! Years ago, before Shu Uemura gave away those extra rubbers in their boxes, you had to buy a new lash curler each time. Which was basically a waste of money because even though the curler itself was in perfect working condition, you had to discard it because the rubber was already torn. I was about to discard my 3rd Shu curler back in 2008 that's why I had to find a new lash curler that produced the same perfectly curled lashes that it gave. That's when I discovered Fanny Serrano's lash curler. At first, all I saw from the FS counter were the black rubber thingies that you can insert in the Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Until the beauty consultant introduced me to "Tita Fanny's" curler. They worked just like Shu's and it had the same dimension and design. I still have my Shu Uemura though (I am feeling a bit sentimental about throwing it away), but I also use FS eyelash curler. Just the other day, I went to Landmark to purchase more of those black rubber thingies when I saw this new item from the FS counter. The Eyelash Curler Slim! It's for those hard to reach lashes at the corners that are so stubborn to curl in just one crimp! Don't you just hate that? I didn't even have to think about whether this instrument will be of good use but I got it anyway. For its price, I know that I can't go wrong. I know that MAC had this instrument before but I always found it too pricey. I told myself that I would just make do with the lash curler. Today, I had the opportunity to use this remarkable new slim curler when I was doing makeup on a model. She had gorgeous long lashes but the outer and inner corner lashes always remained straight and annoyingly drooping even if I try to slide my curler back and forth to reach them! O.M.G. The slim curler saved the day. It's so easy to use and you don't have to put so much pressure to curl the hair. You just have to give a light squeeze and the hair curls right away... And stays that way for a while too! I am hooked! I just love discovering new stuff! Don't you?
